  Founded in the spring of 2016 and based in Chemainus, BC, Rainforest Arts operates under the umbrella of the Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society (CVCAS). Rainforest Arts is dedicated to celebrating Island artists through our retail gallery, website and by promoting all arts related events in the Cowichan Valley We are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Chemainus, just inside the Coastal Community Building on the south side of Waterwheel Parking Lot. Participation in Rainforest Arts is open to artists on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. All artwork undergoes a jurying process and participants must become a member of the CVCAS.
